Building Emergency Procedures

In the event of a fire emergency, at any time, please call the Fire Department (911) or pull a corridor alarm box and immediately evacuate the building. Datawatch monitors the fire alarm system and will automatically contact the fire department and the Transwestern management team. In the event of any other building emergency during the regular business day (flood or electrical/power outage), please contact your Property Manager or Administrative Assistant. The on-site Transwestern management team and other necessary emergency personnel will respond immediately. For medical emergencies, please call 911 for ambulance service then contact the management office.

The after hours contact number is 301.236.6519.

Transwestern is committed to providing the safest possible environment for our customers, employees and visitors. Having a documented plan of action in the event of an emergency and ensuring that everyone knows what to do and where to go to enact that plan, is a key component of minimizing the effects of any disaster. Transwestern plans focus on the overall emergency event and its effect on the building as a whole. It is imperative that each of our customers also have a plan that is specific to its space and its employees. Your plans should be based on your individual organizational needs and ultimately should be reviewed and approved by those having authority for such matters (i.e.: your senior management, legal department, etc.).
